In my painting and drawing, which is figurative with abstract elements, I deal with themes that concern and touch me personally; these can be fears, traumas, isolation, melancholy or natural perspectives. I translate sensory impressions and feelings into my own visual language with the help of photographs and sketches. The aim is to “tell” a story, but not to explain it, and to always reduce the pictorial information to the essentials.
